pa-sar and accessories

i'm up early this morning. not because i wanted to. i crashed big time on the couch last night when i got back and eh to my horror of horrors, i slept all the way till this morning without bathing and brushing my teeth. yeah so terrible dirty. yucky yucks. but well yeah, that just goes to show how freaking exhausted i am from this hectic week (mentioned in previous post). sigh. let's not go there.

so anyway, since i was already up and my mum's a perpetual early bird, she dragged my lazy ass off to the market for an early breakfast at 7. ok so 7's not really that early since i'm normally up by then to doll up for work. but then again, we're talking about a weekend here! weekends are meant for lazing in bed, well according to carren. so yah, i've digressed. was supposed to yak about these interesting cool buys i got from the pa-sar. check them out:

1. slap on brown watch, damage: 5 bucks
yes, like the names suggests, all you've gotta do is to slap it onto your hand and wahla, it'll automatically curl up and cling on. good for casual day wear or when i hit the gym.

2. flower-loop-pin (left), damage: 5 bucks

it seems like forever that i've been lamenting that i'm utterly bored with my hairstyle. i either leave it as it is, tie it into a ponytail, do a half-tie half let-down with a clip or try in vain to bun it all together. so sian right. ya but now at least i can jazz things up with this nifty little loop pin. all you've got to do is to poke it into a bunched clump of hair, twist it up then twirl it down. and you'll have a cute little flower in your hair. hah.

3. double teeth comb flower pin (right), damage: 8 bucks

eh, i've gotta admit that this looks kinda 'aunty' but hey i think i can pull it off without looking the least bit aunty-ish. this is a little trickier to use but it can also be used for a variety of styles --- over bunned up hair (easiest to do) and for both full or half ponytails.

kinda interesting for pa-sar stuff yah? damage wasn't too bad too. i'm gonna be spotting a couple of new hairlooks for the coming week liao. yippie yay.

nice accessories indeed, they look almost dangerous to put them in your hair!! Esp, No. 3. One question, what is pa-sar? Is it a local term for mall?

hi sean, yeah hair accessories can make a nifty weapon when in trouble, esp a sharp chopstick which can b used to bun e hair up.. no.3 pales in comparison to tt. yup pa-sar is smthg like a mall but it ain't as classy, normally it's non air-conditioned and kinda messy. a local term for market, or flea market rather.
