one shithole to the next

i mentioned a new job in the previous post didn't i? and you must be wondering what on earth am i doing now? well all i can say is that i've just jumped from one shithole into another. *smacks hand on forehead.

i'm now with an event agency. always thought that it would be fun to do event organization. not only would it help me take a step towards my 'one day i shall be a wedding planner' dream but it also gives me the opportunity to meet people and erm yes, that would mean the cute dudes in the process too. hahahaha. kill two birds with one stone. so clever. so yeah when this offer came knocking on my door, i just thought 'oh, what the heck? let's just do it.' you only get to live once you know. and nothing ventured nothing gained. i've really got nothing to lose since i'm young and stuff.

and just 16 days into the job, i'm beginning to think otherwise. people just keep dumping stuff for you to do all the time and you know what's the best part? they call this hands-on experience. hello? throwing a beginner into the deep end without a safety harness will only lead to one certain outcome. death by drowning.

i feel very much like a paddling duck right now.
